The club was developed during 1850’s by the Maharaja of Travancore. In the history it was a major site of attraction for tourist and travelers. The club has a history of 150 years but still the club has the smallest golf course. It is evident from this that no initiative was takes in the development of the course. The golf club has a 9 hole short course of Yards – 2645 and par 34. The course is spread over an area of 25 acres with around 3400 trees and over 1000 species of birds. The golf course of the club are mostly straight and wide. The Trivandrum golf course is small, handy course to play golf. Hope the in future the course develops in to a 18 hole course.
