January 21st, 2009

After the Maden Memorial Gymkhana Club was swallowed by the Brahmapura, the DDPC Golf Course and  Dibrugarh District Planters’ Club were born. This was somewhere in the year 1955. The land was of Bokel Tea Estate.

History of the DDPC Golf Course course

Initially the course was 5800 yards in length. It was a 9 hole golf course. The rating was 67.3 with Par 67.

In the year 1998 the 18th Hole was converted to a Par 4. The course length increased to 5910 in length. It was 68 Par keeping the rating same at 67.3.

The course of DDPC is flat and temptingly beautiful.
